The weather in the last six weeks has been more than delightful. I have relished every ray of sunshine. I have made a point of staying out of my basement as much as possible, knowing I will be down there lots in the winter. Tomorrow may be the last of it for who knows how long. Riley plans to spend her day outdoors with her friend at a softball tourney. Bob will be out in the splendor while at work. Sid and I are going to go to some of our favorite walking places and I might take her downtown for Thai food too. One of the things I miss about my job was a great Thai restaraunt across the street from the salon.
Today was lovely in that I did very little. I had gotten so much accomplished during the week that I didn't have anything looming heavy over my head. Bob and the girls went fishing for a while and just got home a bit ago.
Last night was the homecoming game and we had lots of fun. Took some dinner and hung out with other parents who tailgate. We are meeting some super nice people. We won the game and that made for a great homecoming. We were treated to fireworks at half time. I must say that the whole homecoming King/Queen's court thing is super sad compared to my days in school.
So that is it for our weekend, will have had a flash of lightning strike me and provoke profound thoughts from me soon.
