Highlights of 2008

I was reading something online and saw that a t.v. star had made a list of things that were a highlight(or lowlight) for her in 2008. I decided to do the same...
Amy's '08 list of things-
*got a replacement diamond for my lost diamond in my wedding ring- quite an upgrade!
*Bob lost his job (making our decision to move easier)
*Spent Easter in Arizona with my family
*Watched my oldest daughter receive academic awards and get promoted to 9th grade at her promotion ceremony
*Parted ways with my salon and quit working after many years
*Sid got her braces off
*Moved out of California
*Moved to Washington
*celebrated the birth of a new baby in the family
*went sailing for the first time
*mourned the loss of a dear friend's spouse
*mourned the loss of a client in a senseless death
*grandparents moved from the house they lived in for over 45 years and celebrated the move to a new apartment for them
*Bob's new career
*rented our CA house
*the presidential election
*the snow from hell
*won the WA state lottery(just kidding-seeing if you are paying attention)

So that is it- off of the top of my head. A year of changes for sure and I am pretty certain that 2009 will be eventful as well. Hopefully filled with good things, safe things and no sad things. Happy New Year to everyone and thanks for hanging in there with me and my crazy rants!
